Goodwell is an Investment Manager operating since 2006, focused on financial inclusion in emerging markets. The uMunthu fund makes equity investments in growth stage companies focused on inclusive finance, through both brick-and-mortar and tech-enabled business models. The fund’s mandate is focused on services and infrastructure that provide access and lower prices for under-served communities, such as MFIs, online payments, logistics and infrastructure. The fund’s geographic scope spans across Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania.
