Developed by the Impact Investment Exchange (IIX) in 2017, the Women’s Livelihood Bond (WLB) Series was created to be the first gender-lens, impact investing public security. IIX has launched a number of Singapore-listed WLB bonds that were successfully on-lent to microfinance institutions in the Asia-Pacific region with a particular focus on women borrowers.
