The WaterCredit Investment Fund provides debt to microfinance instutions to build out their water and sanitation lending products to the bottom of the pyramid, and lends directly to WASH enterprises. The fund lends to microfinance institutions and WASH enterprises in India, Cambodia, Indonesia and the Philippines. WaterEquity is a spin-off of Water.org since 2017, providing investment capital directly to microfinance institutions and water enterprises. The goal of the fund is to provide increased access to water and sanitation to people living at the bottom of the pyramid.
