Upendo Honey

Upendo Honey buys honey from small-scale beekeepers in the Western region of Tanzania, processes it in its own factory, and sells the processed honey to international buyers (mostly European and North American). Upendo is the second largest organic honey producer in Sub-Saharan Africa, and the largest in Tanzania. The company works with beekeepers in the Kigoma region to source raw honey. The company provides equipment and training to beekeepers before the harvest season.
