Deal Summary
In November 2025, Ceniarth committed $6 million to the BlueEarth Global Impact Credit fund, BlueEarth’s first open-ended vehicle. The fund seeks to generate positive environmental and social impact alongside attractive risk-adjusted returns through private credit investments across both developed and emerging markets. Its impact thesis is intentionally broad, aiming to: (i) increase financial inclusion and support economic growth; (ii) improve access to essential services, including education, healthcare, and affordable housing; and (iii) address climate change and protect the environment.

Beneficiary Impact
Approximately half of the fund’s portfolio will be allocated towards Ceniarth’s impact priorities, supporting underserved communities through investments in financial inclusion, SME finance, agriculture, affordable housing, education and health. The remaining half of the portfolio will focus on decarbonisation and the energy transition.

Intermediary Impact
BlueEarth addresses a market gap by offering a diverse range of bespoke private credit solutions, providing us with exposure to multiple sectors. The fund manager, Blue Earth Capital, is 100% owned by the Blue Earth Foundation, meaning that all profits and a portion of carried interest are used by the Foundation to support initiatives and business ventures to help deliver a more equitable and sustainable future, ensuring strong and ongoing mission alignment.
Capital Additionality
Our additionality to this fund is limited, as it had already secured $110 million in commitments from anchor investors. Nevertheless, the fund aims to reach $500 million over the coming years, and our investment provides much-needed capital while signalling our continued support for BlueEarth’s work.
